Laboral Kutxa new team for Tiril Jørgensen

Tiril Jørgensen will race for Laboral Kutxa – Fundación Euskadi in the upcoming seasons. The 25-years-old rider from Norway has signed a two-years contract with the Women’s Pro Team. Jørgensen comes over from Team Coop – Repsol, for which she raced in the past four seasons. In that period, the Norwegian cyclist has been making a lot of steps forward, showing herself more and more as a punchy rider who can also climb very well. Her fourth place in the general classification of the Volta a Portugal and ninth place in the general classification of the Tour of Norway were only a few of her strong results in 2025.

Starting already well in the Vuelta Extremadura and then for example a 30th place in Liege-Bastogne-Liege after already been in a long breakaway, marked a good start of Jørgensen’s season. After that it only got better, with the results as said above, as well as outstanding performances in races like Itzulia Women, the Navarra Women’s Classic and the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya. All races in which her new Spanish team was also active and likes to show themselves.

“This season has been a good one if it comes to my development”, Jørgensen says. “I have been able to make new physical steps, as well as that I have learned more regarding race tactics, which was also possible as I was interfering more with the front of the races. I can’t express how thankful I am towards Team Coop – Repsol and all the staff that is part of it, as they have given me so many opportunities and help to grow towards the level I now have. Now I am ready for a new step and I am super excited to join Laboral Kutxa, to work with them on new goals and hopefully win with the team.”
