Magalhães renews with Movistar Team until 2029
Brazilian cyclist Ana Vitória Magalhães, better known as Tota Magalhães, will race for Movistar Team until at least 2029. The 24-years-old rider this year made the step up to the successful Women’s World Tour team and had a contract that was ending at the end of next season. She has impressed so much, while having such a good time herself, that the team has now already renewed her contract with three more years. “I am very excited about this and look very much forward to the future.”
After a strong season last year, Magalhães earned a transfer to the Movistar Team. There it was fast clear that she had made another step during the winter and could play an important role during races. “From the first moment I joined the Movistar Team, I have felt a lot of trust. Both from the staff and from my teammates”, Magalhães says. “This team really feels like home for me. I believe that I can develop further as a cyclist, while I am also happy with what I can already do for the team. With this long contract, I have the time to grow and to play a part in the successes of Movistar in the upcoming years.
