Mathilde Huot to make new step with Team Abadie-Magnan
The 20-years-old Canadian rider Mathilde Huot will race for a UCI continental team in 2026. Being part of the new French team Abadie-Magnan, she will be able to make a new step in her career, experiencing more races on UCI-level. Earlier this year the talented cyclist started working with AK Sportpromotions and we are excited to see her growing to a higher level. Huot this year showed a lot of potential, both in races on national level as well as in the international peloton.
Huot started the season strong in national races like the Altitude Tour Féminin Gard in France and the Redlands Classic in the USA. As part of the Belgium club team KDM – Pack Cycling she also competed in several UCI-races, showing she can do well in those too. Impressive were her 11th place in the Maryland Classic and 7th place in the Tour de Gatineau, both UCI 1.1 races, at the end of the year. With her season, Huot showed to be a very all-round rider, who does both well in flat races, the hills and climbs.
