Talia Appleton joins Liv AlUla Jayco Women’s Continental Team
The talented Australian cyclist Talia Appleton joins the Liv AlUla Jayco Women’s Continental Team as of 2026. She has signed a 2-years-contract with the development team of the Women’s World Tour team Liv AlUla Jayco, giving her the chance to develop further in the right pace. Appleton recently impressed in the Tour de l’Avenir, where she ended third in the general classification. This week she will be racing the U23 women’s race at the world championships in Rwanda.
That third place was only one of many good results of Appleton this year. She also got third in the ProVelo Super League, where she won the mountain classification, got second in the general classification in the Q Tour and won the The Devils Cardigan, a gravel race part of the UCI Gravel World Series. Her recent third place in the Tour de l’Avenir however, was the most outstanding, as Appleton showed to be better than a lot of known World Tour riders. She got third in both the prologue and queen stage, while setting the second time in the climbing time trial.
