Winspace first UCI-team for Jenaya Francis
The talented Canadian cyclist Jenaya Francis will race for the Winspace Women Cycling Team next season. With that the rider who recently turned 20-years-old makes the step up to her first UCI-team in 2025. In the past two seasons she raced for the Dutch development team Watersley R&D, for which she got good results in international races. Francis for example finished sixth in the general classification of both the Tour de Feminin and Redlands Classic, while in that last race she also got a second place in the final stage. Earlier the team also announced the arrival of fellow Canadian and AK Sportpromotions rider Nadia Gontova.
“The 2025 season is looking bright”, Francis says. “It is with excitement that I will be taking the next step in my career with Winspace. When the team reached out I immediately felt it would be a great fit as they have a strong development structure and additionally share the same motivation and passion for the sport as I do.
