At AK Sportpromotions we are happy to welcome Samantha Scott, who we are going to represent by taking care of her management as a cyclist. Scott is a 18-years-old second year junior cyclist, who this month won both the road race and the individual time trial at the American championships. Besides that she ended fourth in the youth classification of the Joe Martin Stage Race, a four days stage race on UCI-level for elite women. As a first-year junior rider, Scott also already participated at the world championships in Australia.
“In the first talks I had with Samantha, I got a good impression about her personality and ambition. It has been a pleasure to get to know her and I am convinced we are going to be able to work well together”, AK Sportpromotions owner Aschwin Kruders says. “Samantha has already shown her talent, but her career has only just started. What appeals to me is that she is not only good in things like climbing and punchy finishes, but also has good bike handling skills, as she is also a good cyclocross rider. That is something quite some riders lack off and that will help her a lot when she starts racing in Europe. I look forward helping her further in her career.”

Dubbel Amerikaanse junioren kampioene Samantha Scott sluit aan bij AK Sportpromotions
Bij AK Sportpromotions zijn we blij om Samantha Scott te verwelkomen, die we gaan vertegenwoordigen door haar management als wielrenster te verzorgen. Scott is een 18-jarige tweedejaars juniore, die deze maand zowel de wegwedstrijd als de individuele tijdrit op de Amerikaanse kampioenschappen won. Daarnaast werd ze vierde in het jongerenklassement van de Joe Martin Stage Race, een vierdaagse etappekoers op UCI-niveau voor elite vrouwen. Als eerstejaars juniore deed Scott ook al mee aan de wereldkampioenschappen in Australië.
“In de eerste gesprekken die ik met Samantha had, kreeg ik een goede indruk van haar persoonlijkheid en ambitie. Het was een genoegen om haar te leren kennen en ik ben ervan overtuigd dat we goed gaan samenwerken”, zegt AK Sportpromotions eigenaar zegt Aschwin Kruders. “Samantha heeft haar talent al laten zien, maar haar carrière is nog maar net begonnen. Wat mij aanspreekt is dat ze niet alleen goed is in zaken als klimmen en punchy aankomsten, maar ook een goede techniek heeft op de fiets, aangezien ze ook een goede veldrijdster is. Dat is iets wat nogal wat renners missen en dat zal haar enorm helpen als ze in Europa gaat koersen. Ik kijk ernaar uit haar verder te helpen in haar carrière. “
