AK Sportpromotions has started taken care of the management of Esmée Peperkamp. With this, another Dutch cyclist joins the company that is also originally from the Netherlands. The 25-year-old Peperkamp started her career at a later age, but her talent was soon noticed. Since 2021 she has been riding for Team DSM, which competes at World Tour level. In recent seasons, Peperkamp has shown that she can climb well and rides a strong time trial, among other things.
“Esmée comes from the east of the Netherlands, just like me, so I had seen her in action before she joined Team DSM. Since her transfer to that team, she has taken major steps again and I find it impressive to see where she is already standing, with relatively little experience,” says AK Sportpromotions owner Aschwin Kruders. “I am convinced that Esmée will also show progress in the coming years and I am happy that we can support her in this with AK Sportpromotions.”

Esmée Peperkamp sluit aan bij management bureau AK Sportpromotions
AK Sportpromotions is het management gaan verzorgen van Esmée Peperkamp. Daarmee sluit opnieuw een Nederlandse wielrenster aan bij het bedrijf dat van origine ook uit Nederland komt. De 25-jarige Peperkamp begon haar carrière op latere leeftijd, maar haar talent werd al snel opgemerkt. Sinds 2021 rijdt ze voor Team DSM, dat uitkomt op World Tour niveau. In de afgelopen seizoenen liet Peperkamp zien onder meer goed te kunnen klimmen en tijdrijden.
“Esmée komt net als ik uit het oosten van Nederland en ik had haar dan ook wel eens in actie gezien voor ze bij Team DSM aansloot. Sinds haar overstap naar dat team heeft ze opnieuw flinke stappen gezet en ik vind het indrukwekkend om te zien waar ze nu al staat, met relatief weinig ervaring”, zo zegt AK Sportpromotions eigenaar Aschwin Kruders. “Ik ben er van overtuigd dat Esmée ook in de komende jaren progressie gaat tonen en ben blij dat we haar daarbij met AK Sportpromotions mogen ondersteunen.”
