Recently crowned South African cycling champion Frances Janse van Rensburg has joined AK Sportpromotions. The Dutch based sports agency will from now on act as the management of the 21-years-old rider. Janse van Rensburg, who is racing for the French UCI continental team Stade Rochelais Charente – Maritime, won the national championships of her home country just over a week ago. Two days earlier she won the title in the individual time trial for U23 riders.
“Frances is a rider that I have been following for a while now and I am happy that she has decided to join us”, AK Sportpromotions owner Aschwin Kruders says. “In 2021 Frances was racing for the WCC Team, the continental team of the UCI, and she showed herself in a good way, with some nice results. However, more important on this age, is the drive that she has shown to develop herself to a next level. Frances is ambitious and I look forward to help her make her dreams become reality.”

De onlangs tot Zuid-Afrikaans kampioen wielrennen gekroonde Frances Janse van Rensburg heeft zich aangesloten bij AK Sportpromotions. Het in Nederland gevestigde sportmanagementbureau treedt voortaan op als management van de 21-jarige renner. Janse van Rensburg, die uitkomt voor het Franse UCI continentale team Stade Rochelais Charente – Maritime, won iets meer dan een week geleden de nationale kampioenschappen van haar thuisland. Twee dagen eerder won ze de titel in de individuele tijdrit voor U23-renners.
“Frances is een renster die ik al een tijdje volg en ik ben blij dat ze heeft besloten zich bij ons aan te sluiten”, zegt AK Sportpromotions eigenaar Aschwin Kruders. “In 2021 reed Frances voor het WCC Team, het continentale team van de UCI, en liet ze zich op een goede manier zien, met mooie resultaten. Maar belangrijker op deze leeftijd is de drive die ze heeft laten zien om zichzelf te ontwikkelen. naar een volgend niveau.
