Brazilian road race champion Ana Vitória ‘Tota’ Magalhães has joined the AK Sportpromotions agency. In 2024 the talented cyclist races her second season in the European peloton, being part of the Italian team Bepink – Bongioanni. The 23-years-old rider started the new season well, after also having a good end of last year. At the end of October Magalhães just missed out on a medal at the Pan American Games, finishing fourth in the road race.
“Tota and I have already been talking for a while, during her time racing with a Spanish team last season and I was impressed by her determination to make it as a professional cyclist in Europe”, Aschwin Kruders, owner of AK Sportpromotions, says. “We stayed in touch and now was the right moment to start working together. With both her talent and drive, I believe Tota can come very far in the sport. She has started already really well in 2024 and I am sure there is more to come this year. I look forward working with Tota.”
