The talented Czech cyclist Kristýna Burlová has joined AK Sportpromotions. The Netherlands-based company will take care of the management of the 19-year-old cyclist. Burlová became her country’s junior champion in the time trial in 2020 and finished eighth in the road race at the European Championships in Plouay. She is also doing very well as a track cyclist. Next week she will participate in the European Championship track cycling U23 in Apeldoorn.
“Kristýna has shown already that she has talent. But what I mostly see in her is that she has the will to do something with that talent, to work hard and to put effort into becoming a better rider”, Aschwin Kruders, owner of AK Sportpromotions, says. “This year has been challenging because of covid, as for her it has been difficult to compete internationally. However, her test results are very good and after competing at the Europeans in Apeldoorn, we expect her to also do some nice road races on international level.”

AK Sportpromotions gaat werken met Tsjechisch talent Kristýna Burlová
De talentvolle Tsjechische wielrenster Kristýna Burlová heeft zich aangesloten bij AK Sportpromotions. Het in Nederland gevestigde bedrijf zal het management gaan verzorgen van de 19-jarige wielrenster. Burlová werd in 2020 als junior kampioen van haar land in de tijdrit en eindigde bij de EK in Plouay als achtste. Ook als baanwielrenster doet ze het uitstekend. Volgende week neemt ze in Apeldoorn deel aan de EK baanwielrennen U23.
“Dat ze talent heeft, dat heeft Kristýna al laten zien. Maar wat ik vooral in haar zie, is dat ze graag wat met dat talent wil doen, hard werkt en er moeite in stopt om een betere wielrenster te worden”, aldus Aschwin Kruders, eigenaar van AK Sportpromotions. “Dit jaar is uitdagend geweest door covid, aangezien het voor haar daardoor erg moeilijk is gebleken om internationale wedstrijden te rijden. Haar testresultaten zien er echter heel goed uit en na haar deelname aan de EK in Apeldoorn verwachten we dat ze nog een aantal mooie wegwedstrijden op internationaal niveau kan gaan rijden.”
