The French cyclist Margaux Vigié has chosen to let AK Sportpromotions take care of her management. She is the first French athlete to be represented by the Dutch based company. Vigié is relatively new in the sport, as she is only in her second full season in international cycling, racing for the Italian team Valcar – Travel & Service. Before she was riding fixed gear bike races, after a career in inline skating. This year Vigié impressed with her strong work that helped her teammates taking several wins and with becoming fourth at the French championships.
AK Sportpromotions owner Aschwin Kruders: “In the past months I have started working with Margaux’ teammates Olivia Baril and Lizzie Stannard, who introduced me to Margaux now. After having talks with her, I know she is a rider that I can have high believes in and with who I am sure of I can work well. I believe she has a lot of potential. Based on what she has already shown in the little time she is in the peloton, but also based on how she talks about her ambitions and how others talk about her. AK Sportpromotions verzorgt management Margaux Vigié
De Franse wielrenster Margaux Vigié heeft ervoor gekozen om haar management ook door AK Sportpromotions te laten verzorgen. Ze is de eerste Franse atlete die wordt vertegenwoordigd door het in Nederland gevestigde bedrijf. Vigié is relatief nieuw in de sport, aangezien ze pas in haar tweede volledige seizoen in het internationale wielrennen zit, en fietst voor het Italiaanse team Valcar – Travel & Service. Daarvoor reed ze fixed gear wielerwedstrijden, na een carrière in het inline skaten. Dit jaar maakte Vigié indruk met haar sterke werk dat haar teamgenoten hielp om verschillende overwinningen te behalen en door zelf vierde te worden op de Franse kampioenschappen.
AK Sportpromotions eigenaar Aschwin Kruders: “In de afgelopen maanden ben ik gaan samenwerken met Margaux’ teamgenotes Olivia Baril en Lizzie Stannard, die me nu aan Margaux hebben voorgesteld. Na gesprekken met haar te hebben gehad, weet ik dat ze een renster is waar ik veel vertrouwen in kan hebben en met wie ik goed kan werken. Ik geloof dat ze veel potentie heeft. Op basis van wat ze al heeft laten zien in de korte tijd dat ze in het peloton zit, maar ook op basis van hoe ze vertelt over haar ambities en hoe anderen over haar praten.
