Austrian cycling champion Kathrin Schweinberger has found a new team for the upcoming seasons. The 25-years-old rider has signed a two-year contract with Ceratizit-WNT Pro Cycling. That German based, but internationally orientated team, has shown itself amongst the best teams in the world in the past years. Kathrin herself has shown good progress in the past seasons, having a good sprint and the ability to do well in the classic races.
“I am very happy that I get this chance with a team that I have always looked up to”, Kathrin is proud of her step to Ceratizit-WNT Pro Cycling. “What really appeals to me is that they have a vision, if it comes to the team, but also if it comes to me as a rider. From the first moment we talked I got the impression that with them, I can make steps in my career and at the same time be part of a great group of riders. I look very much forward to the next seasons.”

Ceratizit-WNT nieuw team voor Kathrin Schweinberger
Oostenrijks kampioene wielrennen Kathrin Schweinberger heeft een nieuw team gevonden voor de komende seizoenen. De 25-jarige wielrenster heeft een tweejarig contract getekend bij Ceratizit-WNT Pro Cycling. Dat in Duitsland gevestigde, maar internationaal georiënteerde team, heeft zich in de afgelopen jaren getoond tussen de beste ploegen ter wereld. Zelf heeft Kathrin in de afgelopen seizoen goede progressie laten zien, waarbij ze toonde een sterke sprint in de benen te hebben en goed uit de voeten te kunnen in de klassiekers.
“Ik ben erg blij dat ik deze kans krijg in een twee waar ik altijd tegenop heb gekeken”, zo zegt Kathrin trots over haar stap naar Ceratizit-WNT Pro Cycling. “Wat mij erg aanspreekt is de visie, als het gaat om het team, maar ook als het gaat om mij als renster. Vanaf het eerste moment dat we in gesprek gingen kreeg ik het idee dat ik met hen een stap kan maken in mijn carrière en tegelijk ook onderdeel zal zijn van een geweldige groep rensters. Ik kon ontzettend uit naar de komende seizoenen.”
