The talented Dutch cyclist Maud Oudeman has joined AK Sportpromotions. She has her management taken care of by the company. Oudeman won the Zwift Academy in 2021. That earned the 18-year-old rider a contract with the World Tour team Canyon-Sram, for which she made her debut in the women’s peloton this season. The former triathlete has already made an explicit appearance in the three-day Festival Elsy Jacobs in Luxembourg, among others.
“It is great to see how passionate Maud is and how professional she is already engaged in her sport,” says AK Sportpromotions owner Aschwin Kruders. “For a young rider it’s important to make the right choices and I think we can help her with that. I’m very happy that Maud has come to me and look forward to helping her in hopefully a long and successful career as a professional cyclist.”

Management Nederlands talent Maud Oudeman door AK Sportpromotions
De talentvolle Nederlandse wielrenster Maud Oudeman heeft zich aangesloten bij AK Sportpromotions. Ze laat haar management door het bedrijf verzorgen. Oudeman wist in 2021 de Zwift Academy te winnen. Dat leverde de 18-jarige renster een contract op bij het World Tour team Canyon-Sram, waarvoor ze dit seizoen haar debuut maakte in het vrouwenpeloton. Daarbij liet de voormalig triatlete zich al nadrukkelijk zien in onder meer het driedaagse Festival Elsy Jacobs in Luxemburg.
“Het is mooi om te zien hoe gedreven Maud is en hoe professioneel ze nu al met haar sport bezig is”, vertelt AK Sportpromotions eigenaar Aschwin Kruders. “Voor een jonge renster is het belangrijk om de juiste keuzes te maken en ik denk dat we haar daar goed bij kunnen helpen. Ik ben dan ook blij dat Maud naar me toe is gekomen en kijk ernaar uit om haar te helpen bij hopelijk een lange en succesvolle carrière als professioneel wielrenster.”
