AK Sportpromotions are happy to start working with the talented Finish cyclist Wilma Aintila. The 18-years-old rider who is competing in the juniors category will let her management taken care of by the company. Aintila has shown great progress in the past seasons. Last year she competed at the world championships in Belgium, getting 21st in the time trial and 22nd in the road race as a first-year junior. This season she got an impressive 6th place in the individual time trial of the European championships in Portugal.
“Same as Laura Lizette Sander with who we started working earlier, Wilma is racing for the Danish junior development team Rytger”, Aschwin Kruders, owner of AK Sportpromotions says. “This team gives these riders good chances to develop themselves without pressure, in a safe environment and with a good program. The team also helps them to already find out a bit what type of rider they are. With Wilma I saw she can do a good time trial and can do in several types of races, but she also is a good teammate to others, that really wants to help the team. I am happy to start working with her on her future in cycling.”

Talentvolle Wilma Aintila nieuw bij AK Sportpromotions
AK Sportpromotions is blij om ook met de talentvolle Finse wielrenster Wilma Aintila te gaan werken. De 18-jarige renster die uitkomt in de junior vrouwen categorie laat haar management verzorgen door het bedrijf. Aintila heeft de afgelopen seizoenen veel progressie laten zien. Vorig jaar nam ze deel aan de wereldkampioenschappen in België, waar ze als eerstejaars junior 21e werd in de tijdrit en 22e in de wegwedstrijd. Dit seizoen behaalde ze een indrukwekkende 6e plaats in de individuele tijdrit van de Europese kampioenschappen in Portugal.
“Evenals Laura Lizette Sander met wie we eerder zijn begonnen, rijdt Wilma voor het Deense junior ontwikkelingsteam Rytger”, zegt Aschwin Kruders, eigenaar van AK Sportpromotions. “Deze ploeg geeft rensters goede kansen om zich zonder druk, in een veilige omgeving en met een goed programma te ontwikkelen. Het team helpt hen ook om al een beetje te ontdekken wat voor type renster ze zijn. Met Wilma zag ik dat ze een goede tijdrit kan rijden en in verschillende soorten races goed uit de voeten kan, maar ze is ook een goede teamgenoot voor anderen, die het team echt wil helpen. Ik ben blij om met haar te gaan werken aan haar toekomst in de wielersport.”
