The Spanish cyclist Yurani Blanco Calbet has joined AK Sportpromotions. From now on she will let the company take care of the management of her cycling career. Blanco Calbet is known as one of Spain’s greatest talents. In 2022 she won a bronze medal during the road race of the Spanish cycling championships, amongst other good results. For the next two seasons she will race for Laboral Kutxa Fundación Euskadi, for which Nadia Quagliotto and Mireia Trias, represented by AK Sportpromotions, will also compete.
“Yurani contacted me a few months ago and asked if we could talk. The first experiences I had with her were very pleasant,” says AK Sportpromotions owner Aschwin Kruders. “She is an ambitious cyclist who has a clear vision of how she can take steps in her cycling career. I am convinced that she will continue to grow in the coming years and that we will hear a lot from her. I am looking forward to help her with that.”

AK Sportpromotions gaat Yurani Blanco Calbet vertegenwoordigen
De Spaanse wielrenster Yurani Blanco Calbet heeft zich bij AK Sportpromotions aangesloten. Ze laat voortaan het management rond haar wielercarrière verzorgen door het bedrijf. Blanco Calbet staat bekend als één van de grootste talenten van Spanje en wist in 2022 onder meer een bronzen medaille te winnen tijdens de wegwedstrijd van de Spaanse wielerkampioenschappen. Ze rijdt de komende twee seizoenen voor Laboral Kutxa Fundación Euskadi, waarvoor ook de door AK Sportpromotions vertegenwoordigde rensters Nadia Quagliotto en Mireia Trias uitkomen.
“Yurani meldde zich een aantal maanden geleden bij me met de vraag of we konden praten. De eerste ervaringen die ik met haar had waren erg prettig”, zo zegt AK Sportpromotions eigenaar Aschwin Kruders. “Ze is een ambitieuze wielrenster die goed voor ogen heeft op welke manier ze stappen kan zetten in haar wielercarrière. Ik ben er van overtuigd dat ze in de komende jaren verder zal groeien en dat we nog veel van haar gaan horen. Ik kijk er naar uit om haar daarbij te helpen.”
