Emma Boogaard has followed in her sister Maaike’s footsteps and joined AK Sportpromotions. From now on, the 23-year-old Dutch cyclist will also be represented by our company. Boogaard will join the Belgian KDM-Pack Women’s Cycling Team in 2024. There she will be part of the so-called White Foxes, the club’s elite team. They rode a broad international program in 2023, with many races at UCI level. With the White Foxes Boogaard hopes to make a step up in her cycling career.
For the young Dutch rider, racing on international level isn’t new. In the past three seasons she raced for the Norwegian continental team Coop – Hitec, where she had a role as a domestique rider. Despite bad luck and health issues, Boogaard showed a good form in several races. She is known for being able to position herself well in races, can overcome a hill and sprint well in a small group. With the White Foxes the goal of Boogaard will be to show herself more in the finals of races and to use her experience of the past seasons to do so.
