Roxo Racing new team for Andrea Ramirez
After three season racing for European teams, Andrea Ramirez in 2024 will race for an American based team again. The 24-years-old rider from Mexico has signed a one-year-contract with the American UCI continental women’s team Roxo Racing. With them she will participate in more races in South- and North America again next season, where she was very successful in the past. Ramirez for example won the uphill time trial of the Joe Martin Stage Race in 2019.
In the second part of this season Ramirez also showed very good form, racing in South America. She for example became Mexican time trial champion for the third time in her still young career. Also she ended sixth in both the road race and the time trial of the Central American and Caribbean Games. Last weekend Ramirez competed in the road race of the Pan American Games, where she finished ninth, a week after getting the same result in the individual time trial.
