Marjolein van ‘t Geloof on hunt for success with Hess Cycling Team
Dutch cyclist Marjolein van ‘t Geloof will race for the Hess Cycling Team in 2024. The 27-years-old cyclist has signed a contract for one year with the UCI continental team that in the upcoming season hopes to race on a British license. In her new squad Van ‘t Geloof will get more chances to race for good results herself, as well as her experience will be used to help the ambitious plans of the team to be achieved. “I look very much forward to this new challenge and can’t wait to meet the rest of the team.”
The Hess Cycling Team only started in the spring of 2023, but has a clear idea to the future. In the upcoming years the plan is to participate in the Tour de France Femmes and grow to become the first British Women’s World Tour team, they announced. “From the talks I had with Pirmin Lang of the team, I got a really good feeling”, Van ‘t Geloof says. “I have always liked the idea of growing a team together and look forward playing a part in that next season. Besides that, I have ambitions myself and want to show what I am capable of. I think that the racing program that the Hess Cycling Team wants to do fits in perfectly with this.”
